Sandia Prep's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Maddy Weisler, who scored 14 points, and Emily Cook who scored 11 points. Weisler continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Sandia Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Rio Grande, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
