The Collinsville Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Chico Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Collinsville has five straight wins, Chico has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Collinsville's win was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Everything came up roses for Collinsville against Chico in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 44-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Collinsville since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
