For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Minico and Twin Falls meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. The Spartans were  outmatched by the Bruins and fell  54-20. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  20-0.
 Twin Falls was led to victory by  Bryce Nielsen and  Jackson Sattelberg.  Nielsen picked up 71 receiving yards and three  touchdowns, while  Sattelberg rushed for 132 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Nielsen was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards.
Minico's  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Twin Falls,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-2.
As of now, neither Minico nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
