Hillhouse won the last time they faced Bassick and things went their way on Friday too. The Academics simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 40-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Academics.
Hillhouse found their leader in sophomore Miller Stolzman, who threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in one score on the ground. A healthy portion of Stolzman's aerial production (148 yards to be exact) went to Jakyi Wright, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.
Hillhouse now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bassick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
