Dk Garza Delivers Electric Performance Vs Victoria West
Dk Garza's big game helped extend Alamo Heights's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Garza as he rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
Alamo Heights' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Garza and Alamo Heights will take on Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Hank Hendrix. He was dynamite on Friday, throwing for 460 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards.
For the season, Hendrix has thrown 20 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 297.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 69.17 passing yards per game.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Peyton Bailey stepped things up a notch to give Tivy the 'W'. Nobody could stop Bailey as he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 175 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Tivy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Bailey and Tivy will square off against McCollum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alamo Heights picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Michael Terry. Terry did his part (and then some), rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 33 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
