Pahrump Valley can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon 65-14 at home. While fans of Pahrump Valley might be used to big wins, the 51-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Paris Coleman was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailani Martinez, who scored eight points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, The Meadows School's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Sports Leadership & Management by a score of 40-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat The Meadows School has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Pahrump Valley's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for The Meadows School, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
