Port Allegany extended the longest winning streak in Allegheny Mountain - Northern this week by beating Coudersport, 70-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Sheffield moved up to 490 from 534 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 13-12 win over Cameron County helped the Wolverines improve their standing.
Port Allegany's dynamic duo of Matt Bodamer and Tyce Miller proved tough for the Falcons to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bodamer threw for 413 yards and seven touchdowns and Miller had 157 yards receiving. Nick Conway helped Port Allegany's passing attack out by catching six balls for 117 yards.
Sam Colebert was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 59 yards on 20 carries as Otto-Eldred bested Coudersport. Dakota Vaughn also contributed to the rushing game with 21 yards on the ground.
The Gators' Bodamer and Miller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Allegheny Mountain - Northern in both passing and receiving yards. Bodamer has thrown for 1267 yards this season, while Miller, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 28 catches for 525 yards. Colebert from the Terrors leads the league in rushing with 383 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Port Allegany takes on Otto-Eldred. The Gators' offense has racked up 225 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Virgil Graham's team has allowed only 159 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Port Allegany takes on the Terrors. The Gators are in first place, while Otto-Eldred is in fifth place.
Port Allegany took down Chris Fink's team 70-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bodamer ran for 25 yards in the win.
