This season hasn't been kind to the University Titans, who are still winless after their fourth match. The game between University and Lake Howell wasn't particularly close, with University falling 65-50. University's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ernie Centeno, who scored 12 points along with seven assists. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for Centeno. Another player making a difference was Aidon Amoah, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Lake Howell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Janiel De los santos out in front who scored 16 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Osagie Otote, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lake Howell, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
University will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Pine Ridge at 7:30 p.m. As for Lake Howell, they will head out on the road to face off against Hagerty at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Hagerty's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
