Despite the defeat, Tate got top-tier performance from Carson Secchiari, who rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Secchiari got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 84 yards.
Nease's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Tate, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
