The Archbishop Hoban Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the McKinley Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Sunday, Archbishop Hoban's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They slipped by Hilliard Bradley 48-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Archbishop Hoban.
Kenny Scott was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 13 points along with seven assists. Jonas Nichols was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
McKinley was handed a two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against East on Sunday. McKinley simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat East 69-29 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory McKinley has managed all season.
Archbishop Hoban is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for McKinley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Archbishop Hoban beat McKinley 57-45 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Does Archbishop Hoban have another victory up their sleeve, or will McKinley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
