Copper Basin was beaten by Chattanooga Prep 65-29 on Thursday. Copper Basin has not had much luck with Chattanooga Prep recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Chattanooga Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyrell Randolph led the charge by scoring eight points along with three steals. Randolph is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Jaydan Parker was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Copper Basin's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Chattanooga Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.
Copper Basin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-53 victory vs. Whitwell on the 9th. Chattanooga Prep has also already played their next match, a 66-27 victory against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the 9th.
