On Friday, Mahwah lost to Sussex County Tech at home by a decisive 28-14 margin.
Sussex County Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Gruber, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Andrew Baker, who rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown.
Mahwah's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Sussex County Tech, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Mahwah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sussex County Tech will head out on the road to face off against Bernards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bernards will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
