Lucas Dyer Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Mahomet-Seymour's Lucas Dyer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dyer threw for 313 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 62 yards.
On the year, Odam has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 163.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one passing touchdown.

Keller Stocks Goes Supernova in Mt. Zion Win
Keller Stocks was a major factor in Mt. Zion's victory over Effingham on Friday. Stocks was dynamite, throwing for 357 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes.
This season, Stocks has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 212.9 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 0.75 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 47.38 rushing yards.

Owen Mateer Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Taylorville got the W thanks in part to Owen Mateer playing the best football he has all season. Mateer rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Mateer has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 59.4 rushing yards per game.

Ray Long and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Ray Long's big game helped extend Mahomet-Seymour's winning streak to five on Friday. Mattoon had no answer to Long as he picked up 145 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Long showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 54 yards.
For the season, Long has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 94.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after three games last season, he was only averaging 35.33 receiving yards per game.
