Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Isaac Sample stepped things up a notch to give El Capitan the 'W'. Sample struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts he has had since back in February.

Sample's strong effort led El Capitan over Ash Fork/Seligman and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
