Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Autauga Academy Generals walked away with it. They walked away with a 45-33 victory over the Generals on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Autauga Academy also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Autauga Academy found their leader in underclassman Teonna Davis, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals. Davis is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Deja Carroll, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Autauga Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Autauga Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Abbeville Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
