Larry Quartararo looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Gilbehert Mendoza was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jayce Windham, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Belleview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mainland only posted an OBP of .355.
Belleview's record is now 13-11. As for Mainland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
Coming up, Belleview will square off against Seabreeze at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mainland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
