Burges (El Paso, Texas) in the second round.
In that victory, the McDonald's All American broke her own single-season school scoring mark with 1,345 points. The 50 points on Tuesday brings her career total to 4,740, which is 17th all time.
Averaging 35.4 points per night, Chavez is uncommitted but has narrowed her final choices to Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, South Carolina and LSU.
