Willmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 71-62 to the Becker Bulldogs. One positive for the Cardinals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Becker was led to victory by Sawyer Brown and Bryce Paumen. Brown posted 22 points, while Paumen put up 21 points. The match was Brown's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Landon Peterson, who earned 11 points.

Willmar's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Becker, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Willmar will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brooklyn Center at 4:00 p.m. Becker and Varsity Opponent will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
