Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maumee Valley Country Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amani-Jordan Chandran-Dickerson, who scored 37 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chandran-Dickerson has scored all season. Christian Majors was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds.
Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwood will take on Toledo Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Toledo Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Northwood likes a good challenge. As for Maumee Valley Country Day, they will be playing at home against Emmanuel Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Emmanuel Christian is ranked 52nd, while Maumee Valley Country Day is ranked 62nd).
