The Frontier Titans will head out to take on the Garces Memorial Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Frontier will bounce into Friday's game after beating Liberty, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Titans came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 32-20 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Titans' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frontier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malcolm Watkins, who picked up 60 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground. Watkins showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 60 yards. Frontier also got a significant boost from Talen Mather, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.
Another reason for the win was Frontier's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Cannon Machado, Lj Riley, and Nathaniel Neal, who each picked up one sack apiece. Frontier got some further help from Machado: he picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Garces Memorial came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Mustangs to the tune of 48-0. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Garces Memorial's win came from a few key players Frontier will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mark Gomez, who threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. Colby Dilly helped Gomez out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and one score.
Frontier picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Garces Memorial, their record now sits at 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Frontier against Garces Memorial when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 43-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
