Lane Albright Turns in Season-Best Performance
Lane Albright produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mount Tabor to the win on Friday. Albright threw for 356 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Davie, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Albright. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Albright saw the War Eagles), he threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes.

Another Game with at Least Seven Total Tackles from Chris Kirby
On Friday, East Forsyth got the W thanks in part to Chris Kirby playing the best football he has all season. Kirby wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss). The matchup was his third straight with seven or more total tackles dating back to last season.
The win for East Forsyth keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Kirby will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against R.J. Reynolds on Friday.

On Friday, Mount Tabor got the W thanks in part to Jaydon Mahfooth playing the best football he has all season. Mahfooth rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
For the season, Mahfooth has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 20.7 receiving yards per game.

Jadon Blair Makes It Three for Mount Tabor
Another Mount Tabor player making an appearance on this list is JaDon Blair. He picked up 144 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 68 yards.
