West Jersey - Constitution recap December 3, 2013
Timber Creek Regional added to the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Constitution this week by beating Triton, 37-15. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Chargers.
Cherry Hill West took down Cherry Hill East 30-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. JaQuan Gonzalez-Pratt ran for 159 yards in the win.
Paul VI's dynamic duo of Alec Vignola and Irvin Charles proved to be unstoppable against Camden Catholic, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Vignola threw for 259 yards and 4 touchdowns and Charles had 150 yards receiving. Lonnie Moore helped Paul VI's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 59 yards.
Solomon Potter made the biggest impact on defense this week as Timber Creek Regional defeated the Mustangs. The 6-foot-1 senior racked up 2 sacks.
Dan Williams was a passing and rushing force as Rob Hinson's team topped Triton. He completed 22 passes for 303 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 1 yards. Williams' favorite target this week was Adonis Jennings, who caught 9 passes for 117 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Chargers' Williams and Jennings have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Williams has thrown for 3,197 yards this season, while Jennings has 72 catches for 1,264 yards. Moorestown's Anthony Williamson leads the league in rushing yards with 866.
The Eagles led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Fighting Irish. Vignola during the win.
