Norwell won the last time they faced Bellmont and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Braves 7-5.

Drew Graft was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Trey Privett, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Norwell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Bellmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Norwell has already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Carroll on the 2nd. As for Bellmont, they will challenge Fort Wayne Wayne at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
