It was a good run, but the Tipton Cardinals unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. Their rough 72-47 defeat to Weaubleau might stick with them for a while. Tipton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-25.
Emmett Haas and Zach Moon certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Haas scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, while Moon scored 14 points along with two steals.
Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Weaubleau, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton will take on Green Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Green Ridge is ranked 184th, while Tipton is ranked 188th). As for Weaubleau, Weaubleau and El Dorado Springs will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
