After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kailua, the Wai'anae Seariders were happy to have found some success on Friday. They breezed by 'Aiea on the road to the tune of 42-13. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wai'anae to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jessie Monderen, who scored 14 points. Karmashjay Westbrook-cueto was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The win got Wai'anae back to even at 1-1. As for 'Aiea, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wai'anae is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Waialua at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for 'Aiea, they will challenge Kapolei at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
