Chase Sikorski gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Sikorski and Hempfield Area will take on Plum at 4:00 p.m. on May 8. The Spartans will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 243 places lower in Pennsylvania), but they're not letting that get them down.
