Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Wren, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wren has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jazmyne Armstrong, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and six steals.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Edison, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will challenge Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
