Taylor Johns put in work no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. That run marked the first that she has scored this season.
Johns wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Altenhein, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
