East Rutherford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taniyah Cash led the charge by scoring 16 points along with five steals. The contest was Cash's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bella Harris, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
East Rutherford's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Rutherford will face off against Patton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Patton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Chase, they will head out on the road to face off against Hendersonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hendersonville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chase in North Carolina (Hendersonville is ranked 289th, while Chase is ranked 617th).
