Somerset Berkley Regional is 3-0 against Mt. Hope since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders will be playing at home against the Mt. Hope Huskies at 5:00 p.m.
Last Monday, Somerset Berkley Regional came up short against Dartmouth and fell 55-43.
Meanwhile, Mt. Hope's game on Thursday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Cranston East by a score of 52-39. The win was just what Mt. Hope needed coming off of a 68-44 defeat in their prior contest.
Somerset Berkley Regional's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Mt. Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Everything came up roses for Somerset Berkley Regional against Mt. Hope in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 73-44 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Mt. Hope's Reyn Ferris, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds.
