Mason Atkins Delivers Electric Performance Vs Aurora East
West Aurora picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Mason Atkins. Aurora East had no answer to Atkins as he threw for 195 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Atkins is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
West Aurora pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Atkins and West Aurora will challenge Streamwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kewon Marshall Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, West Aurora got the W thanks in part to Kewon Marshall playing the best football he has all season. Marshall picked up 80 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
This year, Marshall has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 45.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 24.88 receiving yards per game.

This year, Powers has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 50 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had two receiving touchdowns.
