KIPP Collegiate suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Trezevant 78-11. KIPP Collegiate was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-0.
Meanwhile, Douglass unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak last Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 78-55 walloping at the hands of Trezevant. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
KIPP Collegiate bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road. As for Douglass, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.
Everything came up roses for KIPP Collegiate against Douglass in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 as the team secured a 49-21 win. With KIPP Collegiate ahead 31-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
