The Waunakee Warriors won the last time they met up with the DeForest Norskies, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. The Warriors beat DeForest 79-71 on Tuesday.
The victory bumped Waunakee's record up to 16-4. DeForest's loss pushed them down to 14-6.
Waunakee will take on Mount Horeb Friday at home. Waunakee has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. As for DeForest, they will go up against Reedsburg Friday. Those two teams have set a high bar for this game after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
