On Friday, Milford and Mason were almost perfectly matched up, but Milford suffered an agonizing 10-9 defeat. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Milford came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Mason is ranked 68th).
Caden Bailey threw for 94 yards and a touchdown. Ashton Warther was his top target, rushing for seven yards. On the ground, Nathan Webster rushed for 50 yards.
Milford's loss dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Mason, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mason also has no future games currently scheduled.
