Midland Trail was dealt a 46-6 loss at the hands of Tucker County on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, Midland Trail couldn't push the score so high this time.
Tucker County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Rosenau, who threw for 283 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Maddox Anderson did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 167 receiving yards.
Midland Trail has yet to win a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-6 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.4 points per game. As for Tucker County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Midland Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tucker County will square off against Tug Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Bryson Elia and Jared Reall.
