The Frontier Titans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They secured a 25-20 W over Liberty. This was payback for Frontier, who suffered a 45-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Brycen Cael tablit was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Cael tablit's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Malakhi Statler also helped out by tossing the rock for 272 yards.
When it comes to explaining why Liberty lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mehki Delouth. Despite the final result, he rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 69 receiving yards.
Frontier's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Frontier will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Frontier is ranked 39th). As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against Bakersfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bakersfield will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
