On Friday Caldwell take on Central at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-42, which was the final score in Caldwell's tilt against Lincoln last Friday. Caldwell were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Central, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They walked away with a 24-16 win over Nutley.
Central's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Caldwell's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Central's success rolls on or if Caldwell are able to steal their positive momentum.
