Notre Dame athletic director Alec Moss confirmed that Stokes is moving on in a press release.
According to Fattal, Stokes was facing disciplinary issues at the school and had altercations with students.

The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 21.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game as a junior, posting 17 double-doubles. Notre Dame reached the Open Division state semifinals.
Stokes was set to lead the No. 2 team in the preseason MaxPreps Top 25 rankings alongside
Navorro Bowman Jr. and
Zachary White before the announcement Wednesday.
