There's no place like home for Alvin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Dawson Eagles by a score of 7-4 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Eagles last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Alvin's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Dawson, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alvin will take on rival Dobie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dawson is set to challenge their familiar foe Manvel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
