On Tuesday, the Linden Tigers faced the Elizabeth Minutemen in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Linden fell 62-55 to the Minutemen. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
London Carson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Elizabeth, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Mcrae, who scored 12 points.
Linden's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Elizabeth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Linden will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (Plainfield is ranked 39th, while the Tigers are ranked 22nd).
