The Spring Valley Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Nation Ford at home to the tune of 100-47. Spring Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.
Spring Valley was led to victory by Mariana Moody and Lauren Crosland. Moody almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds, while Crosland scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Chisholm, who scored eight points along with five steals.
The win was the third in a row for Spring Valley, bringing their record for this year to 13-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Nation Ford, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.
Spring Valley will head out on the road to face off against Blythewood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spring Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 223 points over their last three contests. As for Nation Ford, they will be playing at home against Fort Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nation Ford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
