They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 56-29 win over the East Jefferson Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for Haynes Academy as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Haynes Academy's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15. As for East Jefferson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Haynes Academy will head out to face off against Metairie Park Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. East Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 48-37 victory against Ursuline Academy on the 10th.
