Campbell had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Waipahu on Wednesday. The Campbell Sabers were the clear victor by a 16-5 margin over the Waipahu Marauders. The Sabers haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Isaac Lemos made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season.

In other batting news, Campbell got a massive performance out of Jayden Pacariem, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was Pacariem's first of the season. Jonah Yacap was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Campbell hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waipahu struck out seven times.

The win got Campbell back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Campbell will host Pearl City at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waipahu, they will face off against Leilehua at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
