Eastern faced Bell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Ramblers were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Griffins. The Ramblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Aaron Williams was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Eastern's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is 2-0-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Foskett, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Eastern's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8-1. As for Bell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Eastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Jackson-Reed on the 23rd. As for Bell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-5 loss against McKinley Tech on the 23rd.
