Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (69), 1 of 1 Academy still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, 1 of 1 Academy saw an underclassman step up: Yohance Conner went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and 3 assists. Sebastian Akins-Chong was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
1 of 1 Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Bullis, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
1 of 1 Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mt. Zion Prep Academy at 10:45 a.m. on January 21st. Mt. Zion Prep Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Bullis, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Landon at 6:00 p.m. Landon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
