 Snook Christian Academy had to kick off their season on the road back in August, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against Aletheia Christian Academy by a score of  2-0. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Snook Christian Academy never let Aletheia Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22,  25-14.
 Meanwhile, Coosa Valley Academy waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Wildcats 3-0.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Coosa Valley Academy was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10,  25-8.
 Coosa Valley Academy's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kadence Fields, who  had eight  aces, a  kill,  and 21  assists. Fields is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Michelle Alverson, who  had six  kills and five  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Coosa Valley Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 31  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted  since  the start of last season.
