Ontario Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Yang led the charge by scoring 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yang has scored all season. Max Ma was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Meanwhile, Aquinas entered their tilt with the Eagles with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Aquinas came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 61-51 on Tuesday.
The victory makes it two in a row for Ontario Christian and bumps their season record up to 15-9. As for Aquinas, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Ontario Christian came up short against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Aquinas' Daniel Wol, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds.
