The Harding Skippers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Max S. Hayes by a score of 46-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harding also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Aubree Michel was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisen Mcfadden, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Harding's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Max S. Hayes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Harding will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. After both having extra time off, Max S. Hayes and John Hay will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. John Hay will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
