The Oak Hill Golden Eagles managed to keep up with the Hamilton Heights Huskies until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Oak Hill suffered a tough 42-17 defeat at the hands of Hamilton Heights.
Oak Hill's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Will Warnock, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Bodie Derrer was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 190 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Another player making a difference was Cameron Fleming, who picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hamilton Heights, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hamilton Heights will be playing in front of their home fans against Maconaquah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maconaquah is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
