Desert Hills has gone 6-1 against Cedar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Thunder will host the Reds at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Desert Hills' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Cedar has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

If Snow Canyon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Desert Hills, they should've done a better job of containing Kai James. The Thunder came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to James, who had 23 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 18 or more in each of the last three games he's played.
While Desert Hills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Snow Canyon scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 26-24.
Kolu Afualo and Jordan Jensen were among the main playmakers for Desert Hills as the former had 14 assists and five digs and the latter had 11 kills, six digs, two aces, and one block. What's more, Jensen also posted a 31.8% hitting percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since April 1st.
Meanwhile, Cedar came up short against Pine View on Thursday, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.
Cedar's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Desert Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Desert Hills beat Cedar 3-1 in their previous meeting on April 3rd. Will the Thunder repeat their success, or do the Reds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
